Chae Supyeong‘s Art Work Anchovy is a collective entity that forms massive communities like mackerel and herring. When faced with the agonizing scene of the food chain, some of them are sacrificed to external attack as if they were slipping in the lotto, thus increasing the viability of the whole. However, Is a passive external counterattack that is a defense for survival and an aggressive mode of survival through dense formation. The anchovies we know and the anchovies known only to the writer coexist, revealing the formality of simple but double lines. The colorful and simple colors come intensely, so each anchovy forming an armor is ironically boiled and dried anchovies, which are filled with the screen while the army of the anchovy swarms dynamically in the frame of a rough screen. The artist's suspicions and questions about living movements are revealed in the same way as the reversal of the double line through each of the ornamental molds. There is the agony of the young writer about the reality that exists in the painting which strengthens the dynamic rhythm which expresses the color strongly. At the crossroads, the army of the anchovy, the nakedness and the poor anchovy intersect at the same time, and this anchovy is as beautiful and glorious as the hope: in the work and consciousness the dances of the sea and man, past, present and anchovies .
